Bio-energy Corporation Business Introduction

If it's about bioengineering, leave it to Bio-energy Co., Ltd.

Bio-energy Co., Ltd. is a company engaged in the development of material conversion processes using enzyme utilization technology (arming technology). We provide enzymes and systems that convert unused biomass resources into useful substances such as biofuels and bioplastic raw materials. Additionally, to ensure that our uniquely developed processes can be used safely by our customers, we also sell production plants designed and manufactured by Kansai Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd., a plant engineering manufacturer. Our core technology is the creation technology of arming microorganisms based on "cell surface engineering," which achieves energy-saving and high-efficiency in the conversion process of unused biomass. 【Business Description】 ■ Development of material conversion processes using enzyme utilization technology (arming technology) *For more details, please refer to our catalog or feel free to contact us.

Bio-Energy Corporation Technology Introduction "Bioengineering"

Creation of arming microorganisms based on cell surface engineering! Significantly reducing the cost of useful substance production.

"Arming microorganisms" that retain various functional proteins on the cell surface enable groundbreaking technology to catalyze higher-order chemical reactions in a single step. Our technology differs from conventional processes in that it eliminates the need to separately prepare and purify the enzymes that act as catalysts, significantly reducing the costs of production processes for useful substances that require multiple steps. Thanks to the technology we developed, various enzymes such as amylase, cellulase, and lipase can now be armed (fixed to the cell surface) with high activity. Currently, it is possible to produce biofuels such as biodiesel and bioethanol, as well as plastic raw materials like D-lactic acid and polyols from biomass resources. [Features] ■ Significantly reduces the costs of useful substance production processes ■ Various enzymes can be armed with high activity ■ Production of biofuels and plastic raw materials from biomass resources is possible *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Bio-Energy Corporation "Bioethanol" Technology Introduction

Significantly reduce enzyme costs! Proposing energy-saving and low-cost bioethanol production.

We would like to introduce the conversion process of biomass resources using the arming microorganisms we possess. When using arming yeast, the yeast itself can simultaneously carry out saccharification of biomass and ethanol fermentation due to the action of enzymes it produces. Additionally, if the enzyme is amylase, starch can be saccharified and fermented without cooking, and arming yeast can be reused repeatedly. This leads to a significant reduction in enzyme costs, which have traditionally been a bottleneck, and holds great potential for energy-saving and low-cost bioethanol production. We are also actively developing various heat-resistant and acid-resistant industrial yeasts for arming. [Features] ■ Reduction of enzyme costs, which have been a traditional bottleneck ■ Potential for energy-saving and low-cost production *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
